How's everyone doing?

Sharing 2 revolvers that I found. Both by luck.

The LGS that I frequently go to called me up one day and told me that they've just got a revolver in for consignment. They didn't tell me too much about the gun and told me to go in and see it. Went there a day later and found this Ruger Redhawk in .44 Magnum with Custom work ("Alpine" conversion) done by Mr. Hamilton Bowen of Bowen Classic Arms:

The sights are very nice. Knowing it's a Bowen, picked it up right away. To my surprise, this gun kicks less than the 7.5-in Ruger Blackhawk Bisley in .44 Mag that I used to have. The action and trigger are very smooth.

Next one is a Colt Python that was offered to me. Didn't know the history of it until the transfer. It had the trigger job, jeweled trigger, and jeweled hammer done and sights replaced. All work done by the famous Mr. Jim Hoag of Hoag Gun Works. The grips were custom made Detective Grips with finger grooves, medallions and checkering from Herrett's Stocks, Inc.:

Is the yellow on the front sight of the Python an insert or paint? I have a 27-2 that needs some help in that department.
