But wanted to share.......I picked up a 1976 .38 Diamondback a couple of weeks ago and finally got out to the range. The pistol looked almost unfired and I started off with a few wadcutters just to see how it grouped. I loaded up a second six rounds, slipped a playing card into a slit on the target backer and at 6 yards cut the card in half on the 1st shot. Not looking to do a lot to "customize" this piece except maybe some nice custom grips.

On grips for the gun. If you pm or email me off line, I found a fellow who either restores Colt Python make old as new as a part time job. He may still be an option for you.
