Ok guys, the next raffle we have for you is rather special!

Our friend, Al Shear, started this one off by GRACIOUSLY donating a custom Springfield Operator pistol built by Ted Yost. Along with this pistol, Al sent along an Operator Holster from Lou Alessi. Surefire is donating an X200 WeaponLight to go with the Operator (Thanks to our friend Bill Murphy).

Image

And if you thought that was cool, Jim Keeney has donated a Remington 870 shotgun to go along with the pistol. It will be getting a bit of a tactical treatment from the boys at YoBo.

SO, now we have the details for you.

1. All of the proceeds raised will go (once again) to our friends at Ted Nugent Kamp For Kids!

2. There are ONLY 1000 tickets for this raffle and will sell for $10 each. When they are gone, we will pull a name.

3. Tickets can be purchased from TNKFK...

TNKFK
6420 Cowell
Brighton, MI 48116

Tickets are $10 each. Please include your name, address, and a contact phone number. The winner MUST be able to own a firearms and abide by all applicable laws.

A little more info can be found HERE

We are trying to help a great organization purchase the property for a permanent home for Kamp! Spread the word, and good luck!

A little more info about the pistol can be found HERE

Do you have a direct link to the page at Nuge's site where the tickets can be purchased? That would be great. I went to the TNCFK site, but wasn't able to find the correct page.

They are working on it. For now, sending money thru the mail is the BEST choice. Paypal charges for each transaction. :(

I expect that they will have one today.

My check goes out this morning - I got 10 for me and 10 for the wife. (she says the only firearm that she will carry is Ted's CCO or Tim's Sidewinder). :D

In for five. Thanks to the LTW crew for putting this together (and Al & Jim, too!).

Fellas,

I hate to say this to anyone buying tickets, as it pretty much goes against the "keeping the odds in your favor" thing, but SPREAD THE WORD. Don't let this raffle be limited to LTW browsers. If you know anyone who likes shooting, or even just wants to get in on a good cause, tell them to buy tickets. The Kamp for Kids needs a permanent home. Such a great group of folks providing this kind of opportunity for kids shouldn't have to rent a facility. Go ahead... be the guy who sends out a bulk e-mail to everyone in your address book with a link to this site or the KFK site. Put it in your signature block. Build the interest in the disinterested. It's worth it. We can do this.

GOD Bless you all, and thanks so much for helping such a good cause.

~Jim Keeney

Just bought 5 tickets. I'd like to donate more but I'm strapped getting ready to move across the country, buying a house and CT Brian's 629.

Chuck Buzzy handles the tickets and the payments personally. He's quite efficient, and has a lot of experience at doing this in an organized fashion.

If he had to confirm receipt of each money order, it'd probably end up creating an unnecessary burden, and take away from the efficiency of his operation.

Over 2100 tickets were sold for #1, with no problems of any kind. Even people who sent their money in beyond the deadline, and up to one week prior to the SHOT show got their tickets in time. Chuck won't let you down.

I'd say let's let this guy do the thing he's so good at, and deal with any problems if they should occur. I wish I could buy a few :D

Just executed a PayPal payment for ten tickets. It pales in comparison to Al Shear's generosity, but it's a great cause I'm happy to make a small contribution to.

Winning the pistol would only be what they call "lagniappe" in southern Louisiana!

Just picked up 20!! Thats about how many I bought last time...3-4 at a time. Did it in one shot and will have to fight the urge to better my chances :D If I do at least it's for an excellent cause. What can be said about Al that has not been said. One heckuva nice thing to do.

Good luck to everyone!

You guys are too much. This was a spur of the moment thing created by Al and Jim, but to all of you buying tickets, we can't thank you enough. The kids will appreciate it as well. 8)

Steve how close are we to seeing some pics of the shotgun. I know you're all doing a bunch to spruce it up but, the wait is driving me nuts.

Ned and I are going to load up our rakes and shovels and other instruments of destruction into the back of Ned's Red micro mini bus and head out to Ted's. (which just happens to be next to Alice's Restaurant!!!)
