any idea how many tickets have been sold so far??(besides what people post in this thread) an "official" count. :)

I have no numbers yet. The goal (spread the word), is to sell 1000 by the end of August.

Remember guys, there are an awful lot of people out there who know nothing about us or Kamp For Kids. This is a great cause. The kids are our future, and this is a very small way to help!

Anyone unaware of the LTW and the artists we so often find ourselves fawning over might find this as being a waste of money.
Those that are enlightened know that we have a better chance of getting one of your guns this way than trying to get on a waiting list.

Do any of the Powers that Be have a problem with me posting a flyer at my police station? That would probably sell a few tickets.

Nope... No problem at all. In fact, the more people who come up with ideas like that, the better. Thanks DH!

um, question. my check was never cashed. and i sent it a week or so ago. (it should only take 1 day since i live about 1/2hr from there)

does this mean anything? do they hold them to the end? not being anal. just curious as to if it was recieved or not, and what their general practices are...

It means nothing. You will receive the tickets via us postal... the check will get cashed. Don't worry.

How is the raffle going? Are we approaching the 1000 ticket mark yet, or do we have a ways to go.

Actually, we are about halfway there. Spread the word.... We'll pull a name as soon as they are all gone.

K9,

If you bought thickets and you win you will receive your winnings. This is a big project that came up bam bam bam and it is tough to please everyone.

Just relax OK.

Jeez guys. I'm gonna win the thing, and I'm not getting that worked up.

Seriously.... In the first raffle, it took a little bit to get my tickets, but they came well before the drawing. Not to worry. This whole operation is being run by regular guys with regular jobs in their spare time; not by professional raffleteers, or raffleizers, or whatever.
I'm glad they're doing it, and I'm also glad that I'm not.

Sure, all the names on all the envelopes are wrong but the address is right.

Nhaaa, I wait like the rest of you :P No worries :D

Peace,
Jim

Ok guys. AGAIN, relax.

Tickets were mailed yesterday. The guys just finished Kamp, and got back to dealing with the raffle.

Remember this is for a GOOD CAUSE.

So please, lighten up, and relax. You will get your tickets.

Not to worry guys I got my tickets today. I only live 30 miles from where they came from though so give it some time.

That's a funny phrase coming from me because the guys here that know me know that I have very little patience!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not in any hurry to get the tickets, but you can save a lot of time by just sending the guns to me now! (since we all know I am gonna win, anyway!)

I did too. None are really my lucky numbers, though. I think I'll have to make another buy....!

BTW...If anyone ever gets a call from my wife, the correct response is "Josh, who?"
