Haven't posted anything of mine yet, so here is something I recently wrapped up. Let me know what you think.

Stainless damascus with mammoth ivory handles. Bolsters and pins are 416 stainless.

Chris

(see Jim, I told you I'd get around to posting eventually  )

And nothing good can come of that. He's had too much time off to spend thinking.

This one is a beautiful example. However I have one of his last proto knives ... The ST...(Sharks Tooth) battle proven and became indispensable. I actually had two, but the first one...well Chris was nice enough to make some adjustments to the original design and boy did he come up with a model that stood up to a lot more than I thought it would.

Chris, you ought to put up the pictures of the original and the upgraded model. (both proven in the field)

Jim

PS... Me thinking just scares some people sometimes.

Here's a pic of the first one when we thought it would only see occasional use.

Image

And with some tweaking with the metal, the finish, size, thickness, some added features  Jim and I came up with this one (picture isn't as good as the first one)

I would have used something else for the handle had I known Jim hates wood (inside joke there  )

I don't know if I am dizzy because that's such a super knife or if it's the background

Jim, I think Chris' choice of the Glock in the background was a GREAT choice. A custom 1911 would only compete from the beauty of the knife where as the Glock is just a background. :P

Ok, I'll duck so all the Glock fans don't aim for me.

Sweet looking knives!
