OK, I know some of you custom firearms fanatics have a few Emerson's stashed away.
This is one of my favorite Emerson's, a custom CQC-7.
It features the green canvas micarta w/titanium bolsters. The lines are very clean and it is razor sharp.

I think that may be a little understated. That is a fantastic posse of Ernie Emerson's work. Very nice collection!

If those are too plain for you I've also got few of these as well: These are all known as "Pre-tacs" since they were made prior to the "tactical" knives.

WOW! Amazing.

Beautiful old school knives and nice photos. I imagine you have several years built into building that magnificent collection.

Any fixed blades?

I have to send a copy of this thread to Ernie.

He (The Emerson Crew) do make a really nice knife. And the Emerson Family is a great bunch no doubt.

I do have a CQC12 given to me that I admittedly "baby" a bit to much. I have been told by the Emerson "Crew" that their knives are designed to be used and used hard. I still baby it though...

Yeah they are!! Ernie and co. are really great folks to deal with. I have been carrying a SOCFK-B on two deployments and it is pretty well beat to hell. But it still gets more pocket time and use than any other folder I own.

Edit: typing this post made me return to the store where I had last seen my 9year EDC. Five minutes of digging through all the gym bags, I found the one I returned and my old friend was inside.

I know this is an old thread, but just had to share to maybe feel a little better...

Lost my 9 year old CQC7b last week. There's a new CQC7bw waiting in the safe as well as my trusty commander, but the loss still burns deep.

Those custom Emersons in the above collections are a sight to behold.

here's the last pic I have of the little feller....taken only a couple weeks before...choke...he disappeared
