I've been working with Chad Carroll http://www.carrollknives.com to come up with a 3-piece knife set for my father-in-law/boys back home in Arkansas. The damascus steel was hand forged by Chad himself, and the wood is dark green spalded maple burl. The final polish has yet to be done and the sheaths were wet in the pictures, but I thought I would post them anyway. The first picture shows the different stages of the damascus steel. It isn't my bar, but it does show the changes. If I could only get a set of textured slim grips made from that wood to go on my Colt officers model...
