A few years ago I purchased this Spreewerk P38 from a co-worker. His Father brought it home from WWII (Germany). I was told his Father was a MP during WWII, and was at the Nuremberg trials. He was also one of Herman Goerings guards until, Goering killed himself. I was also told that there are "capture papers" for it. He believes they are at his Mothers house somewhere. When the papers are found, I will get them.
The Spreewerk P38 is complete with all matching parts, and holster. Overall it is in very good condition. It was manufactured in January, 1944.

This was one gun that really fascinated me in my earlier years as a student of these things. They are still very cool to me-- sleek and modern on the outside, fascinating on the inside!

As a 5th generation of German-American machinery design, I can attest to the form and function of German "Old World' design.

I own a 1929 DWM Luger and I marvel at its beauty, simplicity and "function".
