Pity - the flowers would have made a great Hippie shooter...

WOW!
of all the heinous things I have seen done to a frontstrap, THAT was a new one on me...
The flowers looked pretty deep! Im amazed you were able to clean that up. Did that involve any welding up first?
Amazing fix! Nice work Sir.

every once in a while a client will just say do what you want and call me when its done, well this one's gonna be surprized! No sir, no welding was done, even thought the stippling was about .026 deep in some places. After trueing the front strap, i still had some .010 deep, I just had enough to work with! Thanks guys for your kindness, i appreciate it!

I've seen Chad's posting here and on the 1911Forum.
The pictures posted here appear larger on my computer and I still see a "skull vibe" going on in the before pics. I guess it could be flowers but either way, it's pretty damn strange. :o

Flowers and Skulls...

Might be better off with a more conventional look, after all...
