Would removing this 38 Super under the ejection port be a difficult task? Would it look odd or somehow damage the frame? I'm attempting to add pix. If it's not hard, I may buy this one.

Send it to someone with a surface grinder. They will probably have to do both sides to keep the appearance balanced. That will necessitate recutting the other roll marks if you wish to keep them. I think Bob Cogan does that with a pantograph. The cocking serrations may need to be touched up, too. Depends on how deep the roll mark is.

Dang! Was hoping that simply carefully grinding off the one side would suffice. I'm cool with the rollmarks on the other side.

Has anyone ever ground off just the ejection port side (seems like it's the same area as where Colt typically puts "Series 80".
