Does anyone have an "old style" clark beavertial, or perhaps a kings that is similar?
I used the last one I had on an original 1911, that had been somewhat butchered, and Don Williams made it right and resurrected into a real keeper.
I came across a an old commercial model colt that had been turned into a bullseye gun long ago, extended front sight balde, bomar hanging off the rear, stippling and all. I see great potential :) ...but I think that only a an old style beavertail would look "right".
I know I can get the bomar dovetailed properly and the front machined off, and everything else make right, but want a grip safety that will look, feel right and be a good match for that era pistol...maybe not the most cost effective way to go, but I love bringing back old guns to good use.

So any suggestions as to where I might aquire one? I got the LAST one that Gil Hiberd guns had several years ago...

Thanks all.
