I believe this is a 1932 (ser. no. 55xx) superposed. All parts, finishes have been redone. It does not qualify for what most call "tactical" now-a-days, but with its rare 32" non-crossfire rib and very early single trigger with selector, it functions as a clay busting machine for me. Angelo Bee did the metal work, engraving is signed in 3 places, and I'm not sure who did the wood. But, I assure you, no superposed came with wood like this from the factory. I tripped across this gun and had to add it to my cabinet. It does not have the original chokes either. Likely they were full and fuller. Now, they are .12" and .29" and smoke clay targets with authority. With a serial number considered in the second year of superposed production, it is almost always the oldes Browning in attendance at shoots. Long live John Browning! This gun rarely fails to perform and gather many admirers on the clays range. Photos for your enjoyment.

That's simply gorgeous. Beautiful engraving, and that wood is spectacular.

Very nice. A pretty "clay buster" indeed.

Looks like the Stock and Forend could have been built by Jack Dockwiller...He frequently stocked guns that had been aftermarket engraved by Angelo Bee...HTH....mikey357
