Hi Guy's,
Long time since log in... Thanks to Jason, Ned, and Don ,,,, was able to to finally get in. Thanks to all you all of you. I know your you have much more important work to do... Anyway , to all LTW members, Can anyone recomend a quality and experienced Rifle smith to restore a
Weatherby .300 Mag, German Model, with Weatherby scope to factory spec and maybe tweak here and there? Talked GA, Weatherby Co. and others and only found One Smith willing to take job.

Just wondering if any memebers have any other recomendations please... Very inportant project that even I am not willing take on.
Hope to hear some sugestions and comments please....
Thanks,
Pete Gallo

Even If I had to go to Synthetic Stock for now... Just want a Smith who knows Weatherby ... That would leave of course Barrel, action and reciever and hopefully orginal scope. I be willing to change and update scope. Just as long as I have all orginal pieces to put back and make stock again to pass to my son when my time comes... You all can relate to this I am sure. Being my Father left me this rifle , I want to pass it on to my son. I remeber him showing how to remove bolt, I was aroung 5 yrs old. He would have me clean barrrel and oil. I am 46 yrs now.. Means a great deal to me and my health is not good as of now.

Pete
