Very clean. How much magnification do you use to see the details of your work? Optivisor?

You are pretty much single handedly keeping this website going with your posts and I am sure others are as appreciative as I am.

Waitaminit, back up. You did the horizontal lines freehand, just using taper as a visual guide?

You are far braver than I am.

Photo of the day... took this completed 45ACP Colt Government Model for what was hopefully my last range session with it before sending home. This gun is finished in Cerakote, not the norm for me, and the material thickness of the finish turned the precise fit of the pistol in to a bank vault tight fit.

Did it still work, post-finish? Or did you have to do some "adjusting"?

It seems the "adjusting" is never ending... after the last range session the gun is still too tight to deliver so I am being cautious where the paint/finish is being 'thinned'.

Photo of the day… A lightweight Colt CCO in 9mm showing some before and after line straightening around the trigger guard. I’ve been working on this project here and there for a while as time permitted, charging forward now to finish the build.

The only thing keeping me from dropping some coin on a P210 is the lack of ambi safeties.

Photo of the day... before and after showing breech face correction as part of the barrel fit on this lightweight Colt CCO in 9mm project, this one was quite ugly. Impact from the newly fit Karl barrel can be seen in the after photo.

Holy cow, did Stevie Wonder cut the relief radius, opposite the extractor tunnel? Or a squirrel on meth?

Colt should be ashamed of that.

Photo of the day... adding a bit more relief to the bottom of this ejector to insure the magazine can’t crash into it during a slide lock reload.
