This build, truly almost got the best of me more than once. It has been with me a good long while, and I am happy to finally bring it across the finish line. A very unique build for my shop, with a wide variety of features, textures and treatments. The Base gun, a Repatriated Combat Commander in 9mm that spent much of its life in Israel, came in pretty rough. To pay homage to its Israeli history, I fitted an additional set of Olive wood Culina grips in addition to the customer's chosen VZ Slims. Note the Chen Gen 2 magwell, thinned to match the slim grips.

I like it, especially the "different" areas like the squared-but-with-large-radius trigger guard and the little patch of serrations on it that salute the pattern on the rest of the gun.

Thanks Ned, the Guard was squared more in the Hoag vision than some of the sharper ones you may see. The stipple and serrations on the front almost didn't happen but, seemed a damn shame to push that guard out so nicely and not put a 'cherry on top' so to speak.

Recently I have become a fan of the the squared trigger guard and that is one very nice job.

Thanks Terry, of all the cosmetic 'options' on this one, and there are a lot haha, The squared guard is my favorite cosmetic feature.

Can’t stop staring at this beauty. The sights, square trigger guard, ball cuts, and the magwell all come together very nicely.
