Ultra lightweight concealed carry goodness built to take it. Right down to the ION Bond final finish.

Why no flat, pinned grip safety?

I don't know how I missed that little beauty.... maybe now I need to stop rolling my eyes when I see an ankle holster made for a small 1911....?

Very cool Tim.

Show me a smith that will dismantle any safety and I'll show you a smith who is looking for big trouble.

Hi Tim. Novaks offers the "answer" option which basically removes the grip safety. I agree that its probably not a good idea in todays lawsuit happy world!! Just thought I'd throw it out there. Not sure if I remember seeing any other smiths doing it.

I've seen 'Wayne's 'answer'. It's nicely done, but like you said, in this day and age, I'd still rather be safe than...

Wait a minute, I think there was a pun in there...

Just when I was convinced I had no use for a tiny 1911, I spot this.

Magnificent work, Tim. Was the slide naked from the start?

No, I removed the lettering that came on it.

That's a real cutie.

I am now out of the babysitting business, but I do sometimes take a little look back over the shoulder and wonder about the ifs and buts.

Maybe on the next go around I will get a less strict guy in charge of the levers up there. Hope springs &c.

Until then these pictures will have to do. Thank you for posting Tim, & congratulations to the new owner.
