.Mr. Derr,
I echo everyone else's comments about your work.
But what grabbed my attention, man!, in your first picture... did you sneak into my house and borrow my knife to use in your photography shoot?!?!
I probably shouldn't be using up bandwidth with this but I was just shocked when I saw it - "There's my knife!"
I didn't try to create art or compose a good picture, but I couldn't help throwing a few things down and taking a quick one.
Just having fun.
Think of it as "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" or something.
Anyway, I like your work and you are so good to post up pictures of all your stuff.
Thanks.
James
P.S. This is my father's Colt Commando. I didn't know he had it until I came across it cleaning out his house after he died. So, don't know the story. He probably "liberated" it when he out processed at the end of the war.
(note to Jim: knife needs some love!)
