I just picked this up. Pardon the dirt. I think the serial number makes it 1978. It is unsigned, anybody know when Nastoff started marking his guns? Its really a nice gun that feels right in the hand. Can somebody identify the safety? I like the beveled trigger and hammer. The checkering on the rear of the slide is amazing. I really like the extended and sculpted grip safety. Im guessing late 70s early 80s, comments?https://goo.gl/photos/pMNHg2t8qdmmd5nW9 ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Can't see pics to comment. Steve was hit or miss on marking his guns, mostly miss. He marked some on the frame under the slide stop. Repost the pics and we can tell you more.

Thanks. That one has some interesting touches. Nastoff typically checkered the rear as a nice little signature touch. I've never seen that slide matt treatment on a Nastoff, the trigger guard checkering looks coarser than what I've observed, also. Steve built some of the best looking guns back then and they shoot very, very well. One of my favorite builders. You have a neat classic gat that is way cool.
