A 1953 Colt 22 conversion added to a new Colt frame. The slide was refinished, the barrel fit with an EGW bushing for proper lock up. The original sights cleaned and restored. The frame has all new barstock internals by E3 and a 2# trigger. Finished in classic blue with Colt factory double diamond grips. This build was to add to a collection all built with the same target theme in mind. It joins a .45, Super .38 and 10mm Delta. One more to go in 9mm.

Really nice Greg! I had never seen that sight before, if I run across one I will snap it up.

Does this one have the floating chamber, and if so 9or otherwise), what has been your experience with those? I've had trouble getting one to run but I gather there are a few tricks to it.... which I apparently don't know

Ned, thats the original Colt sight(maybe a sub contractors) rear sight from the 50's. Yes its a two piece chamber and recoils likes a .45, maybe more like a 9mm but not like a blowback .22. The extractor seems to be the part I would be most concerned about.

That is a Stevens sight. It was OEM for some colt models back then.
