 Post subject: An Old Fox and New Colt.

A new Series 80 with some upgrades. Color case hardening by Tyler, mammoth grips by Boone. I think the only original parts are the frame and slide. Comments welcome, this is the first color case hardened gun I have done.

Looking real nice Greg! Color casehardening on a 1911 is still something "you don't see every day". Always loved the look.

Any tech info you don't mind sharing, I think, would be interesting discussion. Not asking for any secrets, maybe just a little light info on the process, the hardness, etc.
