S&W smith.

I've got a 3" Lew Horton 657-nothing that I picked up a week or so ago that I want to get checked over (timing, gap, endshake, etc.) and an action job.

This gun will be used for backup purposes for the more toothy south Florida critters.

Any of you guys want the job or can you point me towards someone?

Send it back to the factory for an enhancement upgrade of $125. I did my 686 2 1/2 and it is super now.

I was thinking about sending it back to S&W, but I wanted to give the smiths here a chance at it first, they may all be swamped though.

I don't want to distract CT Brian from making progress towards starting work on building my commander, so I think I will send it back to the factory for some tweaking.
