Ya'll received my OM Rugers so well I thought I would show you my latest. This was put together my local gunsmith, Tom Marker. It started as a Buckeye Special with a 38-40 & 10MM cylinder. Tom cut the barrel back from 6-1/2" to 5-1/2" and recrowned. Next he opened up the cylinder throats from .397 to .04125. The left side of the barrel has had the Warning paragraph removed and a black powder bevel cut on the cylinder and the barrel & cylinder polished to 600 grit and reblued. Next, Tom made the front sight from a Bowen sight and made it changeable with a set screw in the front. Finally I fit a stainless grip frame and these stags.
A Bowen Rough Country rear sight was installed and a half moon ejector rod fitted.

I like that. Single Actions aren't really my "thing", but I like that.

To me, most Ruger guns always looked like they weren't quite done making them. They needed a little something else. Your gun is a good example of how I think they should be finished.
