Well Im not much on revolvers, but lately a made a trip to a gun show and well I found this... Its a Smith 10-7, with a 2" bull barrel, DAO, bobbed hammer, hogue grips, and a park job... It also came with a rail and a Tasco ProPoint w/ Red and Green dot as well as a set of weaver mounts.... Oh...it also came with a cheap-o case and three H.K.S. speed loaders.

And the Grand Total was: $325.00

So how did I do?....pls tell me well...Im normally a 1911 shooter and have spent the last 2 years learning the ins and outs...so I have no clue bout this thing...It said Smith....he said...3/4" @ 35 yds...I said how low...I said screw it....lets do this thing.

The number after the dash i believe indicates a series change. Basically a factory improvement or change. That looks like it prob started life as a PPC or Bianchi gun and evolved into a Boot Monster!! Cool looking though. In the PPC circles we will have the barrels set back in the event of a forcing cone split but usually only .500 maybe an inch but more than that it usually gets rebarreled.

10-3 indicates a change on the heavy barrel models extractor rod thread and the front sight was changed from 1/10 to 1/8
10-7 was a gas ring change from yoke to cylinder on the tapered barrel models
