Here is a USFA I picked up for my Dad's Retirement Gift. There are some more pictures of the gun and the holster I made for it under the Custom Holsters Forum.

Doug Turnbull buys them in the White and then does all the finishing. They are really beautiful pieces.

Great job on the retirement gift. I saw the holster, too. Real nice job on that. Wonderful gift all around.

Man, Mr. Turnbull sure does one HE** of uh job on those babies :shock: ! I have been dying for one of them for some time now. Maybe someone should extend an invitation to Mr. Turnbull to join this forum??

I will be giving this to my dad this evening, so I will let you know what he thinks of it in a day or two.

The finish is amazing on this particular example, but it was just a stock gun, and was not ordered with anything special.

I can't really comment on anything else, since I have not even opened the loading gate or cocked the action. I figured I would leave that event for dad.

I will send an email to the Turnbull guys to see if they have an interest in visiting.
