Anybody know who does work like this?

Image

Found the pic online some time ago, think it was on gunsamerica or such.

Wondering if any of the custom revolver smiths out there do work like this now.

For me, it looks nice and clean, neat and tidy, think it would be perfect on a little snubie, or even an ole 58 or so.

Your thoughts?

Dave Sams at Sams Customs does a bobbed hammer job. If you look a few days back in the Custom Revolver thread under "Custom Revolver Pics Anyone" (or something very similar to that) there is a beautiful little Colt Agent .38 that Lindermant posted and picked up from Dave last week. Many of the other big name smiths will do a bobbed/double action only job for you, all you need to do is ask. I am getting ready to ship Dave a Colt Agent of my own to have quite a bit of work done on it including the bob-job like Tom had done. Best of luck to you!--John

Hey guys;

I am new to this forum and nearly new to being able to use computers. Embarrasing at my age and considering I have a building full of them at my business with other people running them.

Anyway you asked about hammer bobbing so I thought I would thow out a suggestion.
www.caswells.com They are an indoor shooting range, retail training and full time in-house gunsmith. The guy has been around for a long,long time and I have a lot of his work on many of my guns from bluing to complete builds.
I purchased an sp101 and a Taurus 9 shot titanium frame 22LR for my wife.
Paul Wysocky, the gunsmith did all her work including bobbing the hammers and the trigger work and it is as good or better than any work I have seen done in any thread in tis forum.
Their toll free number is 888-727-4668 if you want to call and ask questions. The gunsmith is not there on Su and mo.
When I figure out how to post pics on this thing I will send a couple of his work and my own, personal build.

Hope this will give you another opportunity.

With the exception of the checkered top, that looks like an old S&W factory bobbed hammer. I had one on a 3" model 13 a number of years ago.
