Noticed some interest in S&W J-frames and thought I would post this. This is a customized S&W Model 37 (J-frame) that I did some time ago. Not the best photos; the finish is a bit worn because this great little carry revolver is carried FREQUENTLY!!

Carry Grade Action Job
Converted to Double Action Only
Hammer Bobbed
Trigger Rounded and Polished
Cylinder Chambers Chamfered
Front Sight Ramp Painted

Thanks!!

DA trigger pull is in the 9 - 10 pound range.
Thanks

Me too-- as of fairly recently.

The 5-shot S&W is the answer to a lot of questions. Took some years for me to arrive at that conclusion that a lot of people had come to much earlier.

It's not so much about having a big, cool, custom blaster.

It's just about having a blaster.... any blaster...... and these things are SO easy in the "having" department. So much the better if tuned up a bit, but the one I picked up a couple year ago for somebody was smooth and confidence-inspiring just the way it came out of the pocket of the copper who had carried it for some years and maybe shot it 18 times by the look of things. It was regulated well enough and accurate enough to ding 8X10 steel plates at 50 yards with few misses..... to my surprise. Suddenly, something that I had always deemed as coming up short on "macho" was looking really, really long on "practical".

Hi to all. There's nothing like a S&W 649 in your pocket. A gun for all seasons.

Ned-

I figured a man as macho as yourself could pull off a North American Arms in .22  What do I have to aspire to now??? I have to agree my S&W M60, see alot of pocket time... I know more than a few Fed Agents/ Local PD who swear by them too.
