I have to agree with Jason, since Colt quit making their fine little .38's years ago, the S&W J-frame basically has the market covered! In my law enforcement career here in Virginia, I cannot think of too many officers that I worked with that DIDN'T carry a J-frame somewhere on their person on duty as a BUG, and most of us carried them as a primary weapon off duty, mostly due to the four distinct seasons and it was always easy to hide, no matter the attire. I emphasize again, almost EVERY cop I know carries one (and cannot be sure about some of the co-workers that I didn't know if they carried one or not)! Man Colt is sure missing out on a small fortune by not offering a version of their small framed (Detective Special, Agent and Cobras) in this day of "shall-issue"' concealed carry laws and oficer survival issues! (Glad I have my little Agent Lightweight that has been customized by Dave Sams...great little pocket gun with one more round of ammo, and more accurate than I can shoot).--John
