I need help finding a .500" Forged Case Hardened Target Hammer for a S&W 617-1. The one on the gun has had most of the case color buffed off. If I can't find a good replacement my only other option is to have it redone by someone like Bowen or Turnbull. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've checked Numrich and they are out of stock.

According to the Current Factory Parts List, you can get the part from S&W.

If the Parts Department can't help (MIM or whatever), then I would suggest trying the Performance Center.
