I have been absent for a while but wanted to share the new Classic Model 42 Airweight Centennial with you guys and gals who love J-frames. This one has really grown on me.

The action shot was taken drawing the Model 42 from a Galco Royal Guard. It also worked well from hidden breast pocket of an EOTAC Field Jacket using a Galco pocket rig. This jacket is a great piece of gear as are their other products.

Great set up Rob, I still think this is the best back up rig around. Good to see additional models coming out. Thanks for the information.

Sweet M42. I have been looking for one for a while now, and my FFL just cannot get one. Is S&W still making these? I snagged a M40 Classic when they first hit the stores, but I have whiffed on the M42 Classic.

The last time you posted pics of a S&W J-frame, I ended up having to write my local toy store a check for a Model 40-1. Now looks like I have to make another appointment with my local toy store. I didn't even know this model existed.

What is it about these J-Frames that make them so addictive.
