Awesome stuff! Congrats to the winner, but also, to all who bought tickets. And yes, so very fitting as to timing!
NSWF was a great outfit to work with for a variety of reasons. One, they run a tight ship, no big surprise there. They were very organized, and understood exactly what it takes to put on a raffle like this.... and had "what it takes" in place and at the ready, including ground-pounders out there selling tickets. As individuals, the men and women of NSFW were, simply, personalities you wanted to work with. It was an honor meeting you guys at SHOT.
But the coolest part was how we got contacts from several active duty SEALS telling us how "real deal" the NSWF was, and how grateful they were for NSWF's existence, and how much they appreciated the raffle effort.
The "raffle effort" has its foundation in the group of people who buy the tickets. You ticket buyers, you supporters, are the heart and soul of these little endeavors. You have contributed something real, something tangible, to these people who do so much for us all; we know this from their comments. Their burden is lightened, however slightly, knowing that we all support them in our hearts, minds, and actions.
Thanks to all who bought tickets...... thanks to NSFW for a well-oiled machine to work with-- thanks to my LTW brethern who handled the myriad unexpected and unallocated tasks associated with getting this done, and of course, to the LTW 'smiths who put this beauty together and the many other contributors to the package:
'Smiths-- Steve bailey and Jason Burton
Industry support:
Colt-- donated the base gun
Thunder Ranch / Clint and Heidi Smith-- the entire Thunder Ranch DVD set
VZ Grips
Internals from various companies who always support LTW, kicked in by one of LTW's
biggest supporters, Brownell's.
Asym Ammunition / Stan Chen-- a case of Asym ammo.
Tony Hernandez-- photographer.
American Handgunner Magazine for helping promote the raffle.
I've left out a lot, no doubt.
The whole skinny on the gun, the work, and the package is here:

Thanks again to all who helped say "thanks" to the guys out there watching the gates.
