Hello Member's
I want to share a moment that was very special to me. I am a BIG ole-Boy and have had NO luck finding good shoulder rig's that fit me in the past. I have a 58" chest and can NOT find shoulder rig's that fit and are comfortable to wear. I HAVE discovered that factory S&W leather good's fit the bill, but was at a loss to locate a rig to fit my daily carry-J-frame S&W revolver. I lucked out and FOUND such a holster on E-bay and was elated to get hold of one. On the third day of wearing it the WORSE happened. The rig was new old stock but it appeared that S&W had made the leather VERY thin at the swivel areas were they placed the rivets. It BROKE from the rivets and was at a real loss& in trouble as this is the best rig I have found but now it was sadly worthless. that is UNTIL I reached out to member Mr. Alessi. he told me to ship it to him and he would TRY to repair it. That was and understatement.. It arrived late yesterday, and the workmanship was the FINEST I have ever seen. he also went ahead and redid the other swivel points to make certain this would NOT happen again, along with perfectly matching the color of the leather after the repairs. I quickly placed it on, and was back in business. I contacted him and asked what the repairs would be so I could pay for a repair that is NOT possible any where down here where I live. He replied "NO-CHARGE" and added have a Merry Christmas. Mr. Alessi, you are ONE special craftsman, and I am VERY touched by your thoughtfulness. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and it is RARE in todays world that people help to the level you did when you dont even KNOW a person. many thanks sir,You have my Highest respect and recomendation.. Kurt Vogler

Hello CRod
I certainly will as soon as the rig he repaired is wore out. I can only wear one at a time, and look forward to purchasing one from him in the future. :D Best regards, Kurt Vogler

Well Kurt,
Now you know what this place is all about!
And what the people are all about!
Lou is one of them. It doesn't surprise me that he would do something like that. He's a prince of a guy!

Now you know why we said Lou is a prince. Try that with some of these other fly by night makers.

Lou,

I think you know How I feel about you. Your kindness shown me has been overwhelming to say the least. To read Kurt's message does not surprise me in the least. You are a fine man and I am very proud to call you friend.

Kurt if you stay here you will see these acts of kindness all around you. As Al Shear said so well

Al would know only too well because he too is one of the most selfless and kind folks around.

Again Lou I'm not surprised by your actions any less would not be possible for you.

Keep yourself safe my friend,

Gary Morris

Hey Al
That is a good one.. That is ONE thing I miss dearly since my move. in Rochester New York, where I worked I was three blocks from Diapallo Bakery.. I can still remember the smell and taste that drew me every morning for my double order of Italian toast and 2 cannolies to go for after lunch. I have NOT found a good italian Roll for sandwiches since I left as well  ..Back when I grabbed gears for my living, I encountered MANY fine italians in my daily walk. They were deeply sadened when I got whacked at work and my back was broke. I had several of them come to my hospital bedside and express there fondness for me as well. I remember back in 1985 I recieved a phone call from Tona Pecorra a friend that owned his own trucking company. Buffalo was under and emergency snow removal situation and he needed me to run his International Tri-Axel dump truck there. I went with my Father in law and we worked 9 days clearing the snow. When we got to the HEART of the Italian district it was heart warming to see all those SUPER Italian baking mom's approach the trucks with trays of home baked Italian goodies. They were so glad to get uncovered they treated all us drivers to the VERY BEST Italian creations on the face of the Earth.. Regards, Kurt Vogler

Gentlemen, I'm a little late getting in on this thread, but I wanted to say "THANK YOU" to you all for those kind comments.

I've been out of the loop this past week. We had a break down at the shop. One of the motors on our finishing machine took a crap, and while I had the machine apart, I decided to pull the shaft to check the bearings.
Those needed to be replaced also.
That put us down for about 10 days!

Lou

Lou,
My sympathies on the shop problems. Anything I can do just let me know.

Hello Mr Alessi
I am 800 miles away from you, But remeber a great place to find OLD bearings. It is in Rochester and the name was T&T Bearing. They handle Timken brand and may be able to help you, if it is not available in Buffalo... Regards, Kurt Vogler
