I was fortunate enough to be able to meet with Lou and Josh at the SHOT Show this weekend. I met Lou last year, and I can say that he is about as nice as they get. Josh must have been taken from a similar mould.

I took some of my work with me for them to see, and they were very helpful with suggestions and teqniques. One of the real supprises for me was how complimentary of my work they were. I must have spent about 3 hours at the booth talking shop and getting pointers from two of the finest leather craftsmen on the planet.

They have been more than happy to answer any and all questions that I have had over the last year.

oh yeah, ive bought from both, but most of my $$$ has been spent with josh on more than a few occasions...

about the pointers. thats great.

Lou, with whom I've only had the pleasure of dealing with by email and on the phone, gets more than his share of my [modest] disposable income - he is, indeed, a prince in the business.

Josh, whom I've also not had the pleasure of meeting face to face yet, offered to recondition a piece of his gear that I'd bought second hand when I contacted him and asked for some advice about it. Not necessary, but somewhat surprising, and wholly appreciated.

Remarkable gentlemen, both, and a credit to their profession and LTW.

like I said, I can't really measure the value of the knowledge that you and Lou share with people like myself.

I can honestly say that the nicest people I have met come from this industry, and I meet more each day.

It was truly a pleasure to get to talk with you.

The only regret I have - and I have been kicking myself in the ass for 3 days - I didn'd get to see your gator rig!!! What was I thinking??

I forgot to mention that Alex Nossar was there again this year, and I spent some time talking with him as well. Alex is a really nice guy too.
