I would look to anything by Mark Garrity or Mat Delfatti. Both are great to work with and know what there doing. I have a IWB for by 225 from Mark, its the changling. You can change it from any angle from cross draw to no cant to FBI cant. I highly recomend it.

Any of the following guys from this forum can make a beautiful IWB holster for your 228:

Lou Alessi
Gary Brommeland
Josh Bulman
Matt Del Fatti
Mark Garrity
5shot
Alex Nossar

There are many others including:

Milt Sparks
Kramer
Rosen

I am lucky enough to own an IWB rig from Matt Del Fatti, it is an ISP-LP for my P225. This holster is BEAUTIFUL !!! it conceals well and is very comfortable.

That is a real nice looking rig - just make sure you don't loose that belt buckle!

It doesn't look as thought it has any Chicago Screws in it to keep the buckle on - just holes where they should go :D .

If you close I think it's actually those little glove-type snaps.
Nice work, Matt!

John, yes they are "Dot" snaps not chicago screws unfortunately. Haven't had any problems with them yet but I know what you mean. Will be ordering a nice custom 1.25" belt from one of the members here very shortly. I bought the Del Fatti holster and dual mag pouch from a SigForum member who had sold his 225, unfortunately he wasn't parting with the belt and I'm not sure it was the right size anyways. Not being patient enough to wait for one of Matt's belts at the time I picked this belt up cheaply so I could get some use out of the holster.

Lurking on this site daily for the last year has started my addiction for fine leather gear. So far I have this rig from Mr. Del Fatti, a CQC for my 228 from Mr. Alessi and a FBS from Mr. Bulman. My next orders will be from you (the pics of your ostrich skin rig kept me from sleeping for a few nights !!!) and Mr. Nossar. I'm sure I will own leather from all the fine craftsmen here sooner than later.

Well, it is nice to see that someone else shares my SIG Addiction! I have a 225, 229 and my current carry gun is a 220. I spent more time over on SIGForum than I care to remember, but started spending more time here and 1911Forum, as do most of my customers. I sell the occasional SIG holster, but mostly 1911 stuff.
