Can any of you guys think of a good reason not to carry and officers model in a commander size hoster?

I carry both and usually buy all my holster for the commander - ant reason not to?

Hey Rob:
The muzzle end of the holster can crush/deform if the Commander length pistol isn't in it. So it's mostly cosmetic.
