I just got my magazine pouch from Garrity's Leather, and it is without a doubt the best magazine pouch I've ever owned. The magazine pouch is of the pancake style design, with the leather cut very low to allow maximum clearance and grip. The magazine is angled so the base pad is forward. When kneeling to do a reload, the pouch becomes positioned so that the magazine comes straight up, instead of angling backwards like a traditional mag pouch. It is also more comfortable when sitting in a car.

If you've never dealt with Mr Garrity, you owe it to yourself to at least check out his site. His hand boning is top notch, and the leather is as high quality as any other big name leather maker. Plus, he his a genuinely nice guy to deal with.
