First post here, I apologize for my bad english language.
I'm in search for a THIN and compact IWB holster for my 9 mm Beretta Px4 pistol. I'm quite thin and I've found that the wide holsters with offset loops à la VM2 don't fit well my body.
My first choices were the Alessi PCH (man, I like to see in photos its design and finish!) and the Arratoonian 62L, but they aren't made for the Px4.
Would you so kind to suggest an appropriate holster for me?
Perhaps a Tucker Cover Up, or an Andrews Leather McDaniel II (I don't know if the latter is available for the Px4)?
TIA,
Maxm

What about the Alessi PCH?

Or something from Nossar?

+1 on the Nossar IWB, I got one about two weeks ago for my 1911s and it is the thinnest IWB I have ever seen! Mine is horsehide but he can also do cowhide or exotics. Craftsmanship is top notch!!

Another option may be something that follows the Summer Special style body, possibly a Summer Special itself. Josh Bulman also makes a very nice rendition of this classic rig and he has made me a few with sewn loops to help further minimize what little bulk this style of rig has. That style of holster is about as thin as anything else and if it’s available for the Px4 it may work for you. :D

I was looking on Nossar's website and it looks like he won't be taking more orders until February. I know that Tucker Gunleather makes holsters for the PX4 and I personally like his guarantee. If the holster doesn't work for you he will take it back. Period. He also has a relatively short wait for his product compared to some of the other makers. I am waiting for a holster from him and Mark Garrity right now.

Hope that helps.

By the way, Lou will mold up a PCH for you using your pistol if he doesn't have a mold for the gun, so don't let that deter you from getting a PCH. I think it's a great holster myself, one of the most comfortable IWB that I've ever worn. He was kind enough to mold a PCH for my Springfield Operator w/ the full length dust cover for me using my pistol. I am pretty sure most of the top tier holster makers will do the same, just means you have to ship them your pistol which adds $$ to the cost of the holster. Personally, I think it can be worth it to get the holster you want, desire, crave for the pistol you carry and defend yourself with.

Thanks for your replies.
I e-mailed Lou about his PCH (my first choice) and he told me that he don't make holsters for the Px4. BTW, as I live in Italy I can't send him my pistol...
Nossar holsters seem fine, but actually he don't accept orders.
Anyone use the Tucker and Andrews holsters I mentioned, please?
Bests,
Maxm

Maxm,

Sorry, didn't notice you live in Italy. I don't have any personal experience w/ Tucker gunleather, but I have a holster on order right now. I like that he has an unconditional guaratee on his holsters. If it doesn't work out for you in any way, return it. I know several people with his work though and I think the quality of his holsters is on par w/ other top tier leather workers.

Maxm-You might also want to check out FIST, Inc located in New York. They do excellent work and their kydex holsters are some of the thinnest and most comfortable I have used in my years of law enforcement! Also, they will build the holster the way you want it (cant, etc.) and have a 100 % satisfaction guantee. I ordered a custom kydex from them recently, and was quoted a turnaround time of 3 weeks.....but had the holster in my hands in 15 days! Give them a shout.....by the way they also do leather too, with good results!--John

Thanks, John, I hope you'll be happy with your new holster.
I'll try probably to order the Tucker Cover Up, too.

Now, if Lou could make me a PCH for the Px4... Hey Lou, we are near Christmas, you know, and all the best holstermakers have to do a noble deed...
