This lovely holster arrived at my doorstep yesterday. (Thanks Alex and Ned.) My first attempt at pictures did not work out great. I'll try and get some better ones later in the week. The actual color of the horse hide is dark reddish brown.

Good looking set-up. Where did you purchase the grips?

Speaking of his grips, Hakan just sent me these pictures with a note that they are in the mail! Life is great.

Nice rig!!

Alex does top notch work.

I like the grips too - are they Amboyna? They look like a set I have that was made for me by Scott Sensing.

A real beauty NYMedic. If you have time I would really like to see photos of the back side of the holster. I really like the way its cut so the middle finger's knuckle clears the leather for a proper first grip on the draw. I have this problem on my MS VM2 that this knuckle bangs leather there and keeps me from getting the best and clean quick initial grip on my draw. Nossar looks to have solved this by cutting the leather further down and exposing just the right amount of triiger guard and giving the fingers and knuckles better clearance.

Thanks! Enjoy it

Don't have anything but an IWB mag pouch from Nossar right now but I can safely say that it is absolutely the BEST of it's kind that I've ever used. Planning on buying some more stuff when time and funding permit.

Well, I just had the pleasure of handling a Nossar Valovak IWB that a buddy of mine (who is a certifiable holster junkie) ordered. I am completely impressed, and so far no-one has commented on what impresses me the most about it. The holster is just incredibly thin!

Most of us are making IWBs out of 6-7 oz leather. I don't know how Alex is doing it, but this thing must be 3-4 oz thick. the double-thickness wing of the holster is about the thickness of a nickel, and yet the entire holster is still incredibly stiff. Even with the sharkskin mouthband and steel reinforcement it's still thinner than anything that any other holster-maker is producing.

It's been a long time since I handled a holster and thought "I couldn't do that", but my hat's off to you, Alex, as I humbly bow down.
You definately make the thinnest IWB out there!

They are thin! And I can tell you that they stay stiff over the years. One thing I have not done is go swimming with mine, but it is holding up very well to every day, all day use.

How does he do it? Let's beat it out of him at SHOT!

I received my Nossar IWB-II in horsehide about 6 weeks ago and the only thing I can say about it is that it is AWESOME!! Two days ago my second showed up a Nossar Pancake in horsehide and all I can say is WOW. These are by far the thinnest, most comfortable rigs that I have ever worn and they look great also. Alex, Thanks for everything and Ned, Thanks for getting them to me quickly!! You guys rock!!

Ned, was wondering about that myself as I didn't order the shark. I'll take excellent care of it I promise. However I'm holding it hostage till I get mine! Please don't send the SWAT team!

I got my Nossar IWB in stingray with shark trim for my Gemini 66 the other day, I love the damn thing.

Alex had some problems with the first attempt at the holster (cosmetic with the stamp) and offered to send me that holster and my money back because it was taking longer than I was told. Alex seemed upset and was very apologetic on the phone, I assured him I was in no hurry. No dice on my part, I wasn't going take what amounted to a free holster from someone for something so minor. You can't be impatient and have anything custom done.

Alex kept calling me making sure I was ok with what was going on and called me when he shipped my holster to Ned so I could expect it.

Based on my experience with this last order and the product I received, I can't fathom buying any custom CCW leather from anyone else, ever.

Alex and Ned are both class acts. I initially placed my order for an IWB and OWB and heard from Alex that he was not happy with the way my OWB turned out. He kept in constant contact with me as to what was going on with it, something that doesn't happen too much with the US shops. He is obviously a firm believer in customer service and won't ship anything that does not meet his high standards. With the exception of Lou Alessi and John Ralston, I too have found my "go to" person for gunleather.

I think that about does it for me, you guys have "SOLD" me on buying a Nossar holster as my next purchase!! My late friend Witherspoon, from this forum, also had nothing but good things to say about Alex and his products! Alex...you'll be hearing from Virginia very soon, sir!

Alex, the best way to thank us is just to keep turning out the incredible work that you do! I hope little Lou doesn't see this but I believe Iv'e found my "go to" man for gunleather but don't worry Lou, Linds and I will keep that fine Oregon wine flowing, your still "the man" besides I'm partial to people from upstate New York as you well know!

WOW! I was so impressed with this product I went bankrupt purchasing an entire Valovak IWB holster with shark trim for my OACP and my new Sig P220. The wait is going to kill me but I know it'll be worth it all. Now where is that winning lottery ticket?

I just picked up a S&W 1006 that came out of Wayne Novak's shop and I'm just hoping that Alex can find a dummy gun for it. His work is just incredible, you won't be disapponted with the one you ordered for the 220!
I plan on getting one from Mark Garrity also but he's a hard guy to get in touch with.
