Does anyone know their current turnaround time? Thanks.

All I know is that there currently working on the backorders and large contracts that Lou had. They are accepting new orders but by mail only and I have been told by a friend in the area that the hours of work are erratic as most of them work other jobs. I read somewhere that they are attempting to keep the wait somewhere in the six month area. I have several items in the que myself and have learned to be patient when it comes to lead times.

Lou was already pretty far behind before his death, and I'm sure the transition has slowed things even more.

I placed an order in October of 2007, and in January of this year, when Lou announced that he was back at work after his illness, I contacted him and asked him when he thought my order would be done. He replied that he thought it would be another few months probably. He passed away just a few weeks later.

I'm in no hurry and I won't bother the family until I hear from them, but I think new orders are looking at a long turnaround.

Anyone have the phone or a new email for them?

No phone or e-mail, they want mail only for the time being.

Yeah, sent them a letter already but haven't heard anything. I have a pre-paid order sent in from about a year ago and just wanted to confirm that my order is so marked (pre-paid). Never worried about keeping emails from Lou since his passing was such a shock. No big hurry, just wanted to get something in writing.

Believe me I understand but apparently the guys running the shop also have other jobs and are working doing holsters when they can. Not the best situation but hopefully when they get things down to a science like Lou did they will have full time staff. Mary Lou is there during the day but I believe she cut her ours back also.

What I can tell you is that at Lou's funeral, I met the people that were going to be running things and they were darn sure serious about keeping things up and running and maybe even streamlining things a bit. Long story short they were folks that knew the business and not outsiders by any means. Let's see what update might be had in the next week or so.....

I'm sure you will recieve your order. It's not my place to go into detail, but once things get settled product will be shipping out.

Not too worried. It's been a while and have a substitute holster for now anyway (not of nice of course!). Just wanted to make sure it was marked as pre-paid. If not, I guess it would just be a donation in memory of LOU!

Mary Lou keeps excellent records, so I'm sure it is marked as such. I think she is there during the morning on Mondays. Try her then.
