Goom Morning,
I have been trying to get in contact with Mr.Bulman, regarding a change of data in the method of his recieving payment for one of his products.
Phone and e-mail have not been very successful.
Is he about or hors du combat for a while?

He just charged my credit card the other week. So far it's been a 1 year wait. Can't wait to see the leather. Some slick S&W leather due my way

That is EXACTLY the problem. Visa has issued a totally new card and NOT continued the numeric sequence of previously issued cards.
I want him to be paid for his work when it is complete. Currently, if he charges the card with the data I supplied to him, he will not be.
I have not been calling to ascertain a delivery date or to whip him into faster service.

I have left messages telephonic and e-mail for him to contact me.
I am not comfortable with leaving the new credit card data on an unsecured site or voice mail.
It comes down to a pretty simple business practice.
He makes good stuff.
He does that for a living.
He wants to be paid for his effort and product.
He has a NEED to employ common business sense.
Not returning the repeated comms of a customer is not how the many other professionals would have managed this rather small problem.
Note that I have been in touch with several other holster professionals regarding this same problem and all have either returned my call or answered via return e-mail.
Common courtesy goes a very long way.

However, I am gratified that Mr.Bulman is alive and well, if in seclusion.
Thanks to all who have responded,
Ari

Sounds good to me. I'll be a year next month! :D

Well he is alive and out there. During the 1 year wait, I only bugged him once with a question via email and he did get back to me after a few days. I am curious as to how much longer after he charges your credit card, will the leather be shipped but I will wait. What's another month or so?

Ari, How long have you been waiting on the leather? I would think Josh will get in contact with you when he goes to bill your CC if there were a problem.

Timewise it has only been since last December(08). That was never the issue. I can wait as long as is necessary, and without holding anyone's marshmellows over the fire, for a muy rapido delivery.

I simply did not feel too comfortable with the prospect that I may have been considered a deadbeat who proffers a bad credit card for services or goods.
I'm from another generation and I acknowledge that I am pretty old fashioned. 8)
Well,...maybe NOT so pretty.
(Sigh!) I miss Lou too.

Oh well. When he calls, he calls.

Ari

I sent him a fax order in Jan 07 which I can verify arrived and was never able to contact him by phone, e-mail, etc. He makes awesome leather but office practices leave a lot to be desired.

W.W.L.D.??????.......What would Lou do???? I think we ALL know the answer to that! As far as Ari being a non-paying deadbeat...I think we all know you are of the highest caliber!--John

Joel, I'm around. My wife and I took a much needed vacation this past month. And I've been working like an idiot trying to get through my backlog. And to top it off I've been under the weather for the past several weeks. Sorry you haven't been able to get in touch. I'll give you a call when I'm ready to bill you.

Ari,
You won't be disappointed. I have a Bulman IWB holster for my 1911 that fits beautifully and is very well made. Fits both my Government and SA Ultra Compact securely. It's my favorite holster for concealed carry.
