Is this a stamp that Lou ever used:

The guy that's selling the holster is claiming that this is how Lou stamped them up until the 1980's.

Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to buy a pig in a poke. :)

I have over 40 various holsters from Lou, who befriended me as a young cop in the early 1980s.

Several of them are marked like that. Is that the pull-through listed on a well-known auction site ?

I have two belt slide holsters for my BHP that Lou made for me in the early 80's. Both are marked exactly with that stamp on the rear of the foward belt slot. No other markings. I was never one to be very hard on any gear and although the tan model with extended "wings" that shield the hammer is a bit time/wear marked. The black, "wingless" model was worn infrequently; mostly in the office and is as pristine as the day I recieved it. It is currently used for "out to dinner and theater wear".

I miss not having Lou around to cobble up a scabbard; and not having him around for an occasional little BS session.
