Hey Guys!

Here's a quick update: We are just about to the cut-off point for deliveries guaranteed before we move. Anything ordered yet this week will be shipped prior to moving - anything later than that will be put on my "I'll do my best to get it out before we move but I cannot guarantee it before June" list. Thanks again!

And remember Gary, if there are any tools or machinery you decide would be easier to ship to Phoenix then move... :-)
Good luck!!! Moving is such P.I.T.A. !

Josh & Mark,

You guys are coming down to help, aren't you? (I'll buy the beer!)
C'mon - I've only got about two and a half tons of machinery to move.

Rich,
Yep! We bought some mountain top in Tennessee - I'm finally gonna have a place where I can pee out my back door, and shoot a deer off of my front porch! We're gonna break down the shop in March or April (depends upon weather - we've still got to build a shop - gotta wait for it to warm up enough to pour concrete).
We will be back up and running some time in May or June. I'll post a phone number on my website before we leave. 'Wanna help carry some stuff up the mountain?

Well, I am retired now.

Glad you got the dream home!

Hey Rich!

Well, it aint exactly a dream home yet - just a hunk of mountain top. We're setting up a base camp w/ tents to live in while we build the shop first. We'll put a couple of small bedrooms in one end of it to live in while we then build the house. When it's finished, we'll gut those rooms and turn one into a storage area and the other into an office.
I can build a shop building myself, no problem. I am smart enough, however, to realize that a house is probably more than I should tackle. This way, I can be making holsters and be there everyday to look over my contractor's shoulder while he builds my house (I'm sure he's gonna love that  )
I am REALLY lucky that my wife is being such a good sport about it - although she is a bit cranky at the prospect of an outhouse until the shop is finished (It'll have indoor plumbing ) . She's a city girl - I hope she can handle it!

Mr. Brommeland

If you don't mind my asking, what part of Tennessee are you moving to?

Hi Buzz,

Please don't feel like you have to call me "Mr. Brommeland", that is way too formal for me.

In answer to your question, the town nearest to where we bought land is Sneedville. It is the county seat to Hancock county, and is located about halfway between Knoxville and Bristol - about ten miles south of the Virginia line. I absolutely love that place - I can't wait to be a hillbilly!

Gary

You'll have to pardon me. You see, I happen to be from East Tennessee and my mother raised me proper. ;)

Sounds like you're going to be in my back yard, as I live and work in the great metropolis of Knoxville.

Best of luck Gary, you are a brave and blessed man!

I will have to get by with "other" holsters until you get back up and running. Keep us posted.

Deez.

Hey Guys

I want to apologize to all of you for my lack of participation in the forum recently. The construction of the new shop has experienced multiple delays - mostly weather related. I've been tied up w/ solving all of the related problems and filling orders - it hasn't left much time to participate here.
We have decided to go w/ a pre-fab steel building to minimize the down time. We will be leaving FL the first or second week of May, and expect to be up and running the first week of June. This schedule will hold up so long as the weather cooperates and I can get my contractors (excavation/concrete/plumbing) all in sync.
We will be posting the new address and phone number on our website in the upcoming couple of weeks. Thanks!

Hey Mark !

It's good to hear from you too. Gimme a call at the shop (352-288-3292) whenever it's convenient and I'll get you in line. Thanks!
