C. Rod, I always recommend a neutral shoe polish, like Kiwi, or any good grade of wax that contains carnuba. Don't use anything that will soften the holster, (like any products that contain oil), because you risk the chance of ruining the retention capabilities of the holster, and will shorten the life.
Occasionally, you can brush out the inside with an old tooth brush, and apply a small amount of Rusty Sherricks Hyde Glyde to help keep the inside slick.

Greetings Mr. Alessi,
This question may be slightly OT, but can you tell me what you suggest using to recondition a belt?
I have a quality gun belt (Black) from a maker (known for his abrasiveness) that is looking tired. Some folks have suggested using Fiebings Leather Dye. Would you recommend the same?

Thanks for your guidance,

ktmhk53,

Fiebings leather dye will work, but you should give the belt a good wipe down with lacquer thinner first. Let it dry, and then apply the dye. Let the dye dry, and rub it briskly with an old (clean) towel.
You may have to re-rye the edges with a black dye, or edge cote, also sold by Fiebings.
It would also be wise to put some kind of neutral wax on the belt when it's totaly dry so the dye won't bleed onto your clothing.
Hope this helps.
Lou
