Way back at the beginning of the year I ordered a Alessi holster through Heini when my Springfield came back from Yost Bonitz.

Last week it finally arrived. Wow. Very nice.

I don't get to use one daily due to my location, but a nice holster for desert/off roading/hiking/camping use is always welcome. Besides, one day I may move to a free state.

Of course, as soon as my 5" DOJ arrived, an "as new" one showed up in a forum classified section for a Commander so I had to jump on that one. :D

Mrbieler,

Congratulations on your new arrival(s)!

Since I'm waiting for a complete rig from Lou (PCH for 5 inch 1911, belt, pouch), plus another CQC/S, plus a belt for my existing Commander-size PCH, I've decided that your recent delivery means I'll see mine soon.

Oh, yeah, right....... :D

I just say to myself, repetitively, "Good things are worth waiting for, good things are worth waiting for....."

What does the back of the holster look like? Is it similar to a Milt Sparks 55BN?
