Has anyone had experience with OWB snaps coming undone? Looks like Sparks has one with dual snaps on each side (4 total) in case one snap comes undone. It's called the Idaho Quick Mount.

Is this a real issue with these types of holsters or is this a solution to a problem that doesn't exist (NO disrepect at all intended toward the crew at Sparks).

The main reason that Tony designed the IQM with two snaps for each loop is to keep the loop from rotating, an improvement over the discontinued NP-1.

So how big an issue is rotating of holster with single snaps? Which I assume is more of a shifting that happens when drawing gun?

The holster was not rotating, the loops were. Stability with the one button per loop attachment was less than the wider two buttons arrangement. This is all relative, the NP-1 was not doing the hop, skip and jump, it was just not as stable as the new design. I don't speak for Tony, just from my own experience with both rigs.

I know this is an old thread. Forgive me, I just joined the forum today. I've been using the Idaho Quick Mount for 9 months now and daily carry. I love it. I still use the VM-2 for IWB, but the Idaho is my choice when I don't need IWB. It is very stable, easy on and off and so comfortable I almost forget it's there. The four snaps are no problem at all, in fact I feel much more secure with four than with 2 (an old holster).
