My first post on LTW.
I have just (within the last 30 minutes) received my new automobile crossdraw holster for my old Walther PPK, from Garrity.
Outstanding work and grossly UNDER-priced.
A triffle snug but that will "ride up with wear". I strongly recommend Mr.Garrity's work.

Mr.Wang, there is absolutely NO  need to shout.
I do not have the items needed to provide a picture. If I did, I certainly would have done so.
Go back to an earlier era (if you are old enough) and *imagine* a small, remarkable accurately hand boned, minimalist, black, smooth leather crossdraw, one way snap holster that personifies the term "Belly Gun".
It is meant to be worn while driving, and not considered an all day duty holster. The boning performed by Mr.Garrity is shown photographically in the leather, describing exactly the physical charateristics of the PPK.

Mark - you know that I'm just itching to put up some gorgeous pictures of a certain exotic rig you're working on, complete with Ted Yost Signature Grade LW Colt Commander snugly ensconced...... :D

joel, do you mean the holster is snug?

if so do you know the method of "stretching" them? most of the custom makers, (maybe not all) would agree this is a safe method.

take the UNLOADED GUN, stick it in the plastic bag the holster came in, (if it didnt use a ziploc ect.) something about 2-3mm thick. place in holster, let it set for 4hrs or so. try it out. it might not be long enough, but you get the idea. i have to do this with everyone of my custom holsters from , bulman, alessi, ect.

hope this helps.

Thank you for the response.
Yes, I am aware of the "freezer baggie" trick, and have performed it, "without the fingers of either hand leaving". (reference to the punchline of a Jerry Lester 1950's era stage line)

Following up, the fit is excellent. Snug enough to hold the PPK securely, but not so tight that drawing it is impeded. All in all, a lovely fit.
A tip of the Fedora to Mr.Garrity, who does very satisfyinig work at a surprisingly modest price. :D
