hello all, just wanted to know if there were any large framed people who own an Allessi CQC/S for a full size 1911? if so then are there any comfort issues?
Im just curious to see how comfortable it is while sitting/driving, wearing it for long periods of time....ect....

I only own two OWB holsters for my 1911s. Both are Lou's, CQC/S and ACP/S. Both comfortable, both highly functional. PS, they're gorgeous, too.
No regrets (true for everything I own that says "Alessi" on it, come to think of it). :D

Edited to add: I fibbed (unintentionally, of course) about my OWBs. I'm also fortunate enough to have one of Matt DelFatti's scabbards with elephant trim, and the belt and mag pouch to match. Just plain elegant. Pictures one day, I promise.

Now back to our regularly-scheduled programming: For everyday wear, the CQC/S is a winner - you'll like it.

I meet that description :D It is an excellent holster in every respect. Uncle Lou knows his stuff!

Chip, you met that description in the 6th grade.

Chris, I use Lou's CQC/S or DOJ religously. I find them the best and most comfortable. While not a "large" person, I will say the opinion is still the same. The design is what counts here. The leading and trailing "snap wings" countour around the body. The main section sits just low enough to not dig into the "hip roll". The holster is made to be worn just in behind the hip bone at say 4'oclock. Any further forward and it will be uncomfortable because I don't believe it was designed for appendix carry.
