I recently picked up a Colt Commander (pre-lightweight markings) from 1965. I'm trying to figure out what holster would be the "classic"concealment' holster for this pistol.

I own a Milt Sparks Yaqui slide and Summer Specials but I think this pistol pre-dates these. Bern-Martin, Null..? What was the popular concealment rig in 1965?

Thanks,
-RMF

It seems to me that the Nelson said he designed the #1 Professional in the late 60's. Gaylords holsters were availble in the concealment area. John Bianchi's .45 scabbard with snapped strap (I don't recall the model nnumber). Myers had some open topped holsters for them. Not sure if Seventrees was out there yet. Ken Null would be able to tell you that.
