Hey everybody, I was just wanting to ask if anybody knows if any of the holster makers are doing leather for this "chopped" HP version? I would love to hear from Lou, Matt, Alex and any of the other excellent leather craftsmen we have on here about this! Thanks in advance--John

Hey JR:
I don't have a chopped BHP but I sure could build you any kind of holster you wanted by using your pistol or at least the slide group of your pistol.

Also with some holster types, I could build a holster of appropriate length for your pistol without having to use yours just by knowing the slide length on your pistol.

Please shoot me an email if you need more information.

Matt..thanks for the quick reply, I will get in touch with you later this week for discussion. I checked Cylinder and Slide's website, and the best I can find on the dimesion changes are that the slide is shortened by .625" and the frame by .500"-- so I don't know what effects these may have on building your goods, or if a standard BHP holster would suffice with a little room at the ends. As I said, I'm open to suggestions from you and the other makers, and curious to see what you all reccommend! Thanks again!

Alex (of Nossar Leather) is making a holster for my C&S adventurer. I assume that he could do the same for a pathfinder.

Well...as long as the frames are the same...which I think they are. Most makers could really just make a short HP rig for you. Its not really a common thing but can work in a pinch if thats what you want and need.

Shoot well and god bless
