John,
Is Jason going to "allow" you to make these for Commanders?
Or do I need a waiver from him.

I think it's about time I got a holster from my "local maker".

I think it is ok as long as it is on the 1911 platform, the waiver is only required for "Plastic" guns  .

I don't know how a guy his size can even carry a 5" without the muzzle hanging out the cuff of his pants :P

HA!!

It's not as hard as everyone thinks, I just tuck the muzzle into my sock... shorts are another consideration though. :?

Seriously though... we're hoping the IBS will be available for a most popular "service-sized" semi-autos. The ultra-short guns may benefit from a lower riding holster but for pistols sized from a Gov't Model down to a G19 this holster will work very well.

When you get right down to it the beauty of this holster, and the reason it is well suited to a myriad of guns, is that it's a very simple and trim design that flat out works. It's lightweight and low on bulk and, due to some smart stitching by John, as stable as anything I've ever worn.

Jason, I was great to see you at SHOT if only for a moment, that was one busy booth.

John,
We'll be talking soon. I'll need one of these for my Heirloom Precision Commanders. and maybe an HK45C

John - Is that why you looked at me strange when I told you I needed one for a G19?
Waiver? Screw that. Buy the lil fella a box of Hot Tamales and a Jack and Coke and you won't hear a peep.
