As I am sure many here already know, Elmer Keith participated in the development of the 200AW holster with Milt Sparks.

Mr. Keith also wore a 200AW, and he wrote it was his favorite EDC rig for his 4-inch 44 Magnum.

Here is a pic-of-a-pic of The Grand Old Man himself.

In it, he is holding the first pair of 41 Magnums made.

And, if you look closely, you will also see Mr. Keith is wearing his 200AW on his right side...

In this close-up, you can see the signature 200AW hammer shroud (1).

Note also that the "original" 200AW had a welt in the front of the holster (2).

Sometime later, this gave way to the current folded construction that is sans a front welt.

Last, for those who might wish to know, Mr. Keith's 200AW holster was plain black and unlined.
